I was just wondering how much traffic one could actually "gain" or "get" from writing something that I figured would be a storm from Slashdot, and let's just say my traffic got quite the increase. No relevant traffic whatsoever, but it rocketed, and I can only deem this experiment to be a quite huge success. Funny stuff. Bad thing about it that I just assassinated the bounce rate for my blog quite a bit. But, oh, what the hell. All for the good of science :)
